WTB: 02 look, oem, nsx-r, or widebody

Looking to get back into the NSX game but only if it's a 02 look. On a budget because I would rather get a Ferrari 360 for $60,000. I'm debating on getting various cars like a 911 or a Corvette for $35,000, so show me what you got and convince me otherwise. I will be ready to buy in a month...

10 used cars you should probably own and ranking on 1st is ??

what i take from these lists is the potential to enjoy a car for years at little to no cost once you sell it.

Got the dreaded smog test letter in the mail...

im 100% legal, but stock cats go bad over time.

    found some stock exhausts...

if anyone was looking for some. i went into a muffler shop to get a quote on cats (yes i am part of the failed smog club) and saw some laying in the corner. they are called Bro Muffler in Huntington Beach.

You know you own an NSX when...

you know you own an NSX when nothing else is as good.

yet another 996 turbo versus NSX thread

i agree with you, Crazy. i can pinpoint why i do not like the GTR... it does not feel like a sports car. a 911 turbo on the other hand offers blistering performance with a sports car feel. lap times be damnned. we own NSX's, we know all about the significant intangibles like "feel."

    Owning a supercar...

i would have less reservations about driving a new ferrari/ lamborghini than my cars. a well sorted 21+ year old car is far harder to replace than a new car. regardless, i drive my cars everywhere. i have insurance, i have AAA, i have a cell phone... as far as i am concerned, i should be fine.

Perspective on the GTR from an NSX owner

they hated its balance. cars in the UK tend to be drift happy and i am betting it has to do with all the car reviewers being drift happy. you really can't judge a car by the reviews, just drive the damn thing and you will see for yourself.

Perspective on the GTR from an NSX owner

is the M3 really any kind of replacement for an NSX? its a tarted up 3-series. its nice, don't get me wrong, but its ultimately just another 3-series. at least the ugly GTR is unique and not just a hopped up version of a common car. last time i was at BMW, a tech drooled over my NSX and snapped...

taitec is indeed very different from the original.

So I bought an R wing, but..

i struggle with this too... i want the downforce, i want the weight reduction, but im not so keen on the looks... to top it off, my money is needed elsewhere. so, i just leave it stock. i might do it if i had the money burning a hole in my wallet, though.

Perspective on the GTR from an NSX owner

Ferrari states that, even with the 740hp V12 powered F12 Berlinetta, driver involvement at low speeds is a priority. This is what the NSX does so well. GTR, not so much. Driving it fast is what makes it fun.

time for a high mileage update
