What does your vanity plate say?

Vanity plate name MID NGN It used to be MID ENG, but somebody I talked to thought it meant Mid Engineering (?), so I when I got new plates I changed it to something more phonetic (it that a phrase?).

    Big Money

187 miles I get that it's a collector's car, but the owner says he won't drive it. That's sad...

    Quick Jack

You're right, the spacing is a little off, but the sills are so solid you can get away with lifting almost anywhere. Remember there's a jack point in the middle of the sill too - they're really strong! I have to admit though, Quick Jacks aren't so quick sometimes - they take awhile to position...

    Quick Jack

I've had a 3500 for a few years, it works fine lifting my '91 NSX. I use it to lift my Hyundai Tucson too - no problem. Kind of expensive if you have to import it yourself though... (shipping and duties kill you - I'm in Canada).

    Road Salt

Summer tires in the snow = asking for trouble. Put proper snow tires on a NSX and it'll go anywhere (as long as there's less than 4" of snow on the ground...).

    Road Salt

jwmelvin just sent me this link: http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/entry.php?2193-Annual-Service-Cooling-Sys-CL-Hyd-Sys-etc-02&goto=next Yikes! The last few pics show a NSX with rust on the intermediate shaft and some other parts - I can't imagine what happened to the car in the pics, my car looks like...

    Road Salt

I expect the general consensus here is the same as you'll find at Ferrarichat: best to put the car on a pedestal and only drive it on warm, sunny days. While that might make for a good investment, I think it's a waste of a good driver's car. I loved that Rowan Atkinson drove his McLaren F1...

1991 radiator replacement - part availability

I see an old Koyo vs xxx comparison thread - back then the Koyo was said to be better made. Is that still the case? Does the product now have a good warranty? Where to buy - Science of Speed? (I'm in Canada). Tks! Darren.

1991 radiator replacement - part availability

What is the availability of a new 1991 NSX radiator? A dealer in Nova Scotia and one in Florida both say the item is on backorder. One dealer said they can maybe get one in January, the other had no availability date. What if I want one now? Tks! Darren.

Whats the funniest thing anyone's said about your car?

Yesterday a guy looked at my '91 NSX then said "Is that a R8?". Really?
