Daily Driver 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS???

My daily driver is an '02 WRX wagon with the STI shortblock (2.5l), stock 2.0l top end, and 30G turbo. It's obviously AWD, and registers 288HP at the wheels (about 350 at crank?). Configuration might not be quite what you're seeking, but the car has been reliable and is quite fast. Actually...

    Need head gasket for 3.0l

Am in Colorado, just north of Denver. (Dealership is saying at least two weeks before they get anything more from Japan, and with the tsunami/quake and its effect on manufacturers there, two weeks may be overly optimistic.) Jeff

    Need head gasket for 3.0l

My car is torn down for a rebuild at a local shop with a certified Honda mechanic who's worked on my NSX for ten years. Local Acura shop ordered the gasket kit, which came in today with damage (a hole) in one of the head gaskets. Dealer says he's checked the Acura network nationwide and what...

    N20

Hey David, Yes, I'm still dry spraying on my '91. It's still going strong even after 10 years.....I had bought a pumping station 'cause I got tired of paying retail every week to fill one or two bottles. But our local N2O distributor raises his prices virtually every year, so I'm now nearly...

Looking for specific article on NSX

Years ago there was a funny write-up by someone who took a test ride with Parker Johnstone in his highly modified, NSX racer. Does anyone have the article or a link to it? I've looked all over and can't find it. Jeff [email protected]

I want to add a 100 hp nos to my stock nsx

I'm not sure how you draw this conclusion. Turbos aside, a 75-HP shot on an NSX is more than 25% increase; on a 400HP car, the same 75-HP shot is less than a 20% increase. The difference in "feel" may not seem as dramatic, but if you doubt the logic, use more extreme numbers (75-HP shot on a...

    This sounds hokey

This sounds hokey Ya think?? Bottles hold 8gm of nitrous My 10-lber holds 4500gm. Doing the math, I come up with about a 200ms burst...Whew!!! Better hold on tight! (uh, to your money, that is) Jeff

    Short Gears

Brad, I, too, pondered this choice. I went with N2O. It offers much more bang for the buck than ANY other performance enhancement. It is inconvenient to be refilling all the time, but the novelty tends to wear off. Nonetheless, I'm still pursuing the gears, too. Good luck! Jeff Brand
