    JonMonkey's build thread

After what seems like forever I have finally installed my new body pieces and am awaiting time for paint. I can not wait to see what this car looks like with fresh paint and all one color again. So far I got the front bumper replaced with a new Mode4 bumper and an 02 front lip. Also added a...

    JonMonkey's build thread

After 4 long months I finally got my Mode 4 front bumper. Still waiting on a set of TCRC side skirts and a seibon hood though. While the bumper was off I added the NSX-R chassis bars from SOS. Also replaced the front air duct as it got a bit mangled from the accident. Installed a carbon...

    Door pins and e-brake button

WTB: Sage Fabrication burnt titanium door pins and e-brake button. Thought I had sourced a set but that appears to have fallen through. If anyone has a set they would let go or knows where I can find a set I would be most appreciative.

Fender Liners - discontinued? Mita Motorsports? Aftermarket liners?

So what do you mean by not a great option for someone wanting 100% OEM? Are there gaps, does it just look off, noticeable from a distance?

    Looks like it did.

Plan to fix out of pocket. Don't think Grundy will pay for claims if the incident didn't happen on the way to, at or on the way back from a car event. Already bought a Mode4 front bumper, radiator duct and tow hook. Plan to replace the side skirts with TCRC skirts from Downforce. Will need to...

    JonMonkey's build thread

Finally got around to getting the car up. Aside from the lower skirt looks like the damage was not too bad. The radiator duct needs replacing as does the tow hook and the passenger side skirt. The arms all appear to not have sustained an impact. Looks like whatever I hit took out the lower...

    JonMonkey's build thread

Well, I was debating what I wanted to do with my front bumper. Turns out life...or rather the debris someone left on the Bush turnpike decided for me. I was driving home around 11pm and out of nowhere something fairly large appeared in my lane with no time to get out of the way. What ever it was...

When you get up close the mating surface for the bumper and skirt are pretty mangled. Looks like it will need something more than just a bolt. I need to just take the bumper off and see what things look like when completely separated.

No photos but I finally got my 97' AC compressor bracket from Japan installed. Too bad it took until the end of the summer but to have ice cold air blowing in my face again is an amazing feeling. The install was easy and managed to do it without having to take the header off. Now I am going to...

    JonMonkey's build thread

So I piled together a few things and finally got around to putting it all together. I figure that you spend most of your time holding your wheel and staring at your gauges so I decided to do a driver's mod. After a few days of wondering what the hell I did wrong when my steering wheel required...

    Gauge Light Bulbs

Not sure. Tried checking for that this morning and when the car started the lights were working.

    Gauge Light Bulbs

Bringing this back to life. Bought LEDs off of superbrightleds as recommended. Bought the 3 bigger ones and 2 for what I thought was the temp/oil pressure gauge and fuel/ voltage gauges. Used two extras for the overhead lights. Re-installed and none of the gauge lights are working. Flipped...

I am down in Texas. 76226 is my zip. I usually use shipnex fur shipping. They tend to be ridiculously inexpensive and fast. Do you happen to have a part number for your bracket?
