It's pretty amazing what a solid PDR tech can undo. From the looks of it, I'm sure they can get the fender back.
For the bumper it really depends on how close to original that would want to go. If it were me, I'd probably do a DIY fix unless the rest of your bumper is rough (which it doesn't...
Wheels will fit without any inner clearance issues. You'll probably have to do some fender work depending on what tires and how low you set your ride height but these specs are pretty common stock body fitment.
Sorry for your loss but hopefully you'll serve your dad proud as the next caretaker of his beloved NSX. A pre-face light NA2 is an amazing car to begin with as a starting point. I've only been in NSX ownership for a couple of years but have really enjoyed this forum. It's a lot more active than...
Just a precaution for my part to make myself as visible as possible in a sea of trucks and SUVs. I also have an aftermarket stereo that is wired to always be dim as I prefer that but I'm probably weird...
Age old saying but typically the cheapest example you can find will end up being the most expensive example to own. I would save up more to bring your budget into nicer examples. To address deficiencies on these cars can be an expensive affair.
This is true. It's barely noticeable when they're one so I usually actually drive around with the headlights on. It's an easy solution with minimal cost and keeps the front end clean as well.
The NSX-T actually started in 1995 when it would still with the C30A. The switchover to C32B in 1997 is actually NA2 pre-facelift and 2002 is NA2 post-facelift. NSX-T just denotes that it's a targa top so it's okay the NSX-T NA2 models with the updated drivetrain.
Welcome to NSX ownership! I also have an S2000 as well which seems to be a common pairing with these cars. I'm just patiently waiting for all of our snow to go away to be able to enjoy both the cars again
There are options for the factory 15/16 wheels for 200 TW tires when I looked a few months ago such as Dunlop Direzzas, Falken RT-615s and 660s, and Potenza RE-71RS to name a few. Suspension wise, sounds like either Ohlins or KWs outfitted with a cup kit to raise the car when necessary would...
I was always under the impression that the shorter gears would keep the powerband within VTEC range in between shifts but I guess not! Regardless similar to @asylum I can't wait to have my JDM gears installed too!
