I have not posted here for a while as I have been very busy....not with the NSX. I am still running 630 hp on a stock block( cometic head gaskets and ARP head studs). I have run it at the track and at the dragstrip. I have broke an axle,hurt 1 transmission,smoked 1 clutch, and hurt 1 piston...
My five things
1) the car is too fast. I always get speeding tickets
2) the car is timeless. No one knows what year it is.
3) the car has low production numbers. No one knows what it is.
4) the car always starts. I have no excuse to stick around car shows and wait for help
5) the car looks...
I believe that we are not very far away from.........if you can find an NSX for sale buy it......If you could find a 1970 Hemi Cuda for sale for the "right" price would you care if it had a salvage title or not?
You must decide for yourself, some can't have a "salvage" title car in their...
Nice to see Wayne...We will have to get together........all of the AZ NSX's for a dinner or something.

We could compare all day this vs that and so on. It sounds to me the OP has his heart set on an NSX.
My advice is simple.
1) buy whatever NSX you can afford period.(you cannot go wrong)
2)modify the car however you want it...It is YOUR car.
3)build as much hp as you dare from the stock motor...
I have tested everything that you have mentioned.......except if I have 12 volts at the solenoid. I tested that with a test lite only....I will check to make sure that I have 12 volts at the black and white wire......unfortunately the car has been starting and has only missed once for one try...
