    collector car insurance

I use Hagerty. They have agreed upon value. Was fast and convenient. I’ve had a few friends need to make a claim through them and it was nice.

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

One of my favorite past times of buying any car… reading the Owner’s manual. Usually get it done in one night. This will take more time as it’s in Japanese and I will need to use Google Translate. Also…. the illustrations in then manual are amazing. I added an image from the 1995 Acura...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

Also.. my Honda CV (I am a Honda fan at heart) : 1988 Prelude Si - My Brother in law’s. Learned to drive a manual on it. 1990 Civic DX - My first ever car. 100k miles and I loved it. Mods? 13 dollar wheel covers to hide the steelies. 1992 Accord LX - My dad gifted me this car on the way...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

I think that car was a Socal one or two. I know of 6 or 7 NSX-Rs in the states so far. i Yeah I believe he was gonna bring the green NSX-R our to NSXPO - he has a Zanardi as well. BAT has ever only sold one NSX-R and judging by the comments - some people knew what it was and some others...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

As a heads up - you can check my instagram @richiscarcrazy for updates on the NSX-R. I’ll try to be more detailed here. I’ll expound more on my search first. I knew about a year ago I wanted an NSX-R. 1st gen over 2nd gen for multiple reasons: 1. 25 years for 2nd gen doesn’t occur until...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

Thanks man... yeah a few people I know who were in the market for an NSX-R - none of them really wanted a green NSX-R. It's odd, because some people were saying it's so unique, but for JDM fans, white is the color.

Will try to do my best! Yeah, see what had happened was... I got super busy with life. I'm a cardiac surgeon... and specialize in something called mechanical circulatory support - I like to call it forced induction for the heart. While I love what I do - I'm on call basically every other...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm over the moon. As for comparison to the 91... well apart from the test drive haven't had much time to drive it yet. I'm waiting for the paint prep, PPF and ceramic coat. I'm also excited to take it to the track. I did track my 1991 15k mile NSX - and...

So happy! Just bought my dream car - 1995 JDM NSX-R (or Type R) 25k miles

So... I AM SUPER STOKED.... I'm not going to go all into the details, but as a Honda fan since I was a kid growing up in Minnesota - the NSX was the supercar I always wanted. Of course I had posters of Ferraris, Porsches and Lambos - but given everyone around me was hating on Japanese cars in...

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

Not sure why you're offended by my posts. I'm just trying to provide context if Acura/Honda is trying to compete in the supercar space. If I just said, I have a supercar from some company.. would that be better? It would be lacking information...

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

It is fair. This happens with all cars including my 675. Mine happens to be optioned with a roof scoop so it's rather immune to depreciation. But when you start seeing more cars in inventory it means they are not moving. Having bought and sold many cars in my life I've always found this to...

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

Agreed. Around here 570s are selling well. If you order one you won't get it for at least 6 mos at our local dealer. I just figured I'd get a Cayman GT4 instead and wait.

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

McLaren sells customer spec'd cars at MSRP. I should know I bought my 675LT at MSRP.
