A friend and I have been having this discussion for the last week and a half. He owns a 1994 Viper and the other day he said that if it wasn't for the Viper, cars today would not have the HP they have. Basically he's saying the Viper set the Bar for high HP vehicles....which Chevrolet and Ford...

wow this thread has given birth to some more MN nsx owners. Glad we waited until June to do this. So is there a set plan for the 18th. What time are we going to meet at Elite? Maybe Elite should decide this since it's their facility. Should we bring anything (food....etc)

my buddy with the viper put me to shame the other day. I made some comment to him about secretly yerning for an NSX and he probably switches his NSX posters around (to vipers) when I come over. :biggrin: I got a crack out of it until he said..."Yeah, those are sweet cars....I wish I knew...

I do plan to go.... I'll need the upper of seeing some NSXs..... Has everyone settled on that date?

PaulL.....glad you love the car so much. I was hoping you had changed your mind after the test drive, however I knew it was gone after those few quick acceleration runs we did. No man can say no to the car after that..... You'll be amazed what that car will do....... I've taken corners so...

I don't agree with the front plate law....so I go with what other said.... However I dislike loud exhaust systems so I'd say get that fixed. It's inconsiderate to others when your screaming around town with your annoying exhaust note. It used to be cool on older cars (old mustangs, vettes...

numbers work for me.... they think just because it's a rare car that people will pay 20K more for it (someone probably will). I was just looking at the new C6 convertible and they were selling it for 15K over retail. What a joke.... It's too bad Chevrolet doens't step in and say "this is BS"!

Just an update...I had my timing belt replaced on Friday (04/22) Service was excellent and everything worked out great. The only downfall is spending all that $$...and the car drives away the same as when you dropped it off :smile: Oh well, you cannot put a dollar on peace of mind. Thanks
