Battery finally died on my ‘98...
I’d prefer to replace with something of newer technology and/or something lighter or better - ideally, both...
I’ve had very good experience(s) with lithium (Shorai) on my motorcycles...
Is there a viable modern solution preferred in NSX Prime-land..?
TIA
Reviving an old thread...
Are these guys still around..?
My '98s battery finally died, and I'd be very interested in getting a Shorai setup as a replacement.
I use Shorai exclusively in my sportbikes and am extremely pleased with them.
Any help is appreciated.
Returning to my old thread...
Since the time-sert install, I've had zero issues. Call me happy, but it was a pain to sort out.
My mechanic - well respected in these parts - has this opinion:
These cars in many cases do not get driven a lot, and when they do they get driven hard. The heat...
OK, Sandro...
Need some details on this body kit. I really like it. Is there a post about this kit? Is it a one-off you did..?
More inf please.
Are there hi-res images avail..?
This is a Cantrell Concepts Carbon Fiber Engine Cover, it's in great shape, uses the factory rubber gasket, clips, and prop rod. Solid one-piece carbon, no lexan or mesh. Very lightweight.
It was on the car when I purchased it three years ago, and I wanted (and purchased) an OEM cover to store...

Just seeing this thread...
Purchased my '98 abt a year ago. Dash lites are red - I assumed that was stock, and they do not illuminate the dash very well. Was red Factory?
I think white will work better... Subscribed...
Yep, 215/35 18 front. For others - my car is lowered abt an inch to inch and a half - no rubbing. Oddly these show almost no wear.
I'll order the 265s today. Next is searching info on a proper align set up for better rear wear (all street driven). Good info on the Wiki...
Thx for the advice.
Tire Rack still lists the F1 Asymmetrico 2 in 265/30 19. Tread width is actually 10.6 in (slightly wider than the 275/30) and the diameter is 25.3 - so only 0.3 in smaller than the 275.
Seems like a fit. Any downsides? Any one used this size?
Well, The Goodyears (the Asymmetricos) are still avail in 285/35 19. However, the width at the tread is 11.4 in (275 is 10.2). I have room for the 1 inch of width... The diameter is 26.9 in for the 285 - 275 is 25.6, so going to 285 would be abt 1.3 inches taller. Too tall I think.
The 265 is...
