It turns out that it wasn't an issue despite the fact that I purchased them used. The latest ones should have no problems whatsoever. There's plenty of clearance but I highly recommend that you have them wrapped or coated as the front bank is very close to the AC compressor.

We haven't had much luck with the 888 here and while they aren't terrible, I wouldn't use them again since they tend to heat cycle out very quickly. I would much rather use the AD08R and I myself am running the NT01s which are far superior and would say they are best overall tire when price...

I am interested. Others have replaced the alternator with something smaller from what could be from a Civic saving an extra supposed 1.5kg/3.3lbs of weight. Perhaps your kit can incorporate/accommodate this feature also...
