1991 NSX Driver Window clunks at bottom when opening

Thanks. I thought it was something like that. I'm trying to contact Window World to see about a rebuild.

1991 NSX Driver Window clunks at bottom when opening

I suspect this has something to do with the window regulator but couldn't find any discussion of my problem. My driver side window goes up and down without problem, but when it gets to the bottom it recently started making a clunk sound. It all appears to work fine, but I don't like the clunk...

    Intermittent AC operation

When my wife and I were doing software, we had a saying: "There's no such thing as a minor bug". Until you understand what's really going on, you have no idea what the implications are. Personally, I think that's true of things like capacitors. If it's clearly not correct, in this case it's not...

    Intermittent AC operation

The bulge and dripping on the side is certainly not a good sign to say the least! The seal at the bottom seems to have held up and the capacitor wasn't completely dead, the AC still worked intermittently. Replacing it fixed the problem in any event. I photographed the board with a magnifying...

    Intermittent AC operation

I removed and opened the fan control unit from behind the seats and found the electrolytic capacitor clearly buldged. Amazon was the only place I could get a replacement quickly so I got 4 and replaced the original on the board. This seems to have completely fixed the problem. I can hear the...

Thanks for the reply, that sounds worth investigating. I'm away for a couple of weeks but will check it when I get back.

    Intermittent AC operation

Intermittent AC operation (SOLVED) Solution: http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/216298-Intermittent-AC-operation?p=2037673&viewfull=1#post2037673 On my 1991 NSX the AC doesn't always come on. It seems pretty random, sometimes when I start the car it's fine, sometimes it doesn't come...

    Intermittent AC availability 1991

Very recently our 1991 NSX AC has been not coming on about half the time I use it. I can start the car and the AC doesn't come on, then shut if off and restart it and most of the time it will come on. It seems random, sometimes it will start multiple times in a row, sometime not. The CCU has...

    OEM Power Antenna Question

Yet more on early NSX power antennas. I replaced the mast with the OEM one from Acura of Augusta and it worked perfectly for about a year, then went back to not fully retracting. After some searching I ran into an opinion that the clutch on the motor was likely worn. Since everything on the...

    Source for stock height springs?

I was hoping for new. If I can't find a source though, thanks for pointing that out.

    Source for stock height springs?

The springs on my 1991 NSX, front especially, are very rusted and I'd like to replace them, but I'd also like to keep the stock height. So far I've not been able to find a source for non-lowering springs. Any suggestions? Thanks

    OEM Power Antenna Question

Thanks to Foxlovescars for the pointer. I went through exactly the same thing. After a couple of tries and messing around far too long I noticed this post and bought the same part, did a 30 minute install, and it works perfectly.

    OEM Power Antenna Question

Thanks very much. I Mickey Moused it so I'm good for antenna parts, however, that's an excellent pointer for the future.

    OEM Power Antenna Question

Actually, after some measuring and messing around, I simply cut off the sleeve and installed the Accord mast. I kept the new black plastic guide at the top and it fit my existing antenna tube. Works perfectly except I need to adjust when the motor stops. I'm getting a short burst of the gear...

    OEM Power Antenna Question

Thanks very much for the reply, but is that the correct part for 1991? I thought it was 39152-SM4-003 or 39152-SL0-003. The places I've looked claim the 39152-SL0-A01 is for 1994 onwards, although I have no idea if that is correct.
