Spent a lot of 2020 and the first part of 2021 getting the NSX painted... turned out pretty well:
Recently bought it a garage mate, 1985 Ferrari 308 QV:
I recently removed some of these from my car. It seems to have dramatically improved the ride over the crappy Houston roads that I deal with. I didn't seem to hurt performance on track. Totally not on topic, but the OP got their answer and I figured it might be relevant or useful information to...
I just paid $1700 to have the timing belt done, including water pump, valve adjustment, and plugs. I brought all the parts, except for the water pump, plugs, and alternator belt. I was told it was $900 if I had all the parts. Anyhow, just a data point. This was an well known independent shop...

Yup, the line from the tank to the canister is disconnected and "open to the world", but thanks for clarifying that for anyone reading the thread. In retrospect, you're probably right that the other lines could have been left alone.
I got the car up on the lift today It's pretty dirty under there and I was hoping to find a "fuel trail" in the muck, but I didn't find any evidence at all. Obviously, that's a pretty major drip, one that I'd expect to make a nice obvious trail in the grime.
I pulled the connections off the...
