I bought my '99 NSX-T for myself for Christmas last year (at age 28). Best Christmas present ever

    Insurance POLL

$2400/year(!) with State Farm for a '99 NSX-T; 29yo; single; no accidents, and the NSX is a daily driver. - Stephen Seattle,WA

    Yellow Owners Question

I purchased a '99 Spa Yellow NSX-T last December and I love it. It's a gorgeous color, very exotic, and gets a lot of attention. I think yellow is a better color for the NSX over red, blue, black or white. In my opinion, the silver is the next best color for the NSX I recently looked at a...

    clutch noise??

I have a similar experience. I hear a clunking noise when disengaging the clutch in 1st gear at very low RPM's. But (not sure about this) I think it only happens before the car has warmed up. This is on my '99 NSX-T. - Stephen

    SURVEY SAYS *****

It will be truly amazing if Honda builds a state-of-the-art next-gen NSX w/a 400HP V-8 and F1 transmission, keeps it as exotic as the current model, and prices it at $55K. If it can compete with the Ferrari 360 at 40% the price... wow, I hope I'm not just dreaming. I don't see how they can do it.

    future design/marketing thoughts

The artist's sketch by Steve Eastwood of the next-gen NSX (completely ficticous of course) in the August 2000 Road & Track is gorgeous. More curved in the front, but overall a slightly more aggressive look & posture, and much better than the 360 Modena design, I think. In addition to a new V-8...

    LOTUS 250

I first saw a picture of this in the April/May 2000 Sports Car Intl. magazine. It was quite the looker! Before I realized it was a Lotus, I thought I was looking at a prototype of the next-gen NSX! It's price/performance ratio (plus NSX-inspired looks) make it very competitive to the current...

Arguing Lotus Elise vs. Dodge Viper

Although Lotus does not plan to bring the Elise to the North American market, they are working on another exotic car, code-named "M250". In terms of performance & price, it seems to be mid-way between the Elise and the Espirit. The closest competitor is probably the Porsche Boxster S. Could be...

    NSX insurance

I'm 28/male/single, living in WA state. About 4.5 year's insurance history in the U.S. (moved here from Canada). Clean record. 1999 NSX-T + 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Insured with State Farm. $3700/year! I checked with a couple other agencies and they told me either "sorry, can't really beat...

    Rumors on Next Gen NSXs

The "mass produced" and $55K price point sound worrisome. I hope each individual next-gen NSX gets the same hand-crafted, loving attention that they do today. And I hope it's just as exotic and state of the art as the NSX was 1991. I wonder who Acura considers to be the competition for the NSX...

    Next Generation NSX

I hope they add an F1-style gear shifter, like what's available on the 360 Modena. That would be a lot of fun.

    what color!!

A Spa Yellow NSX is damn exotic. Too bad a dark metallic gold is not available. - Stephen '99 (Spa Yellow) NSX-T

    Rattlez!

I'm getting a strange noise with my '99 NSX-T. It sounds like a sheet of metal or glass is resonating from the corner above and behind the passenger's seat. It's happens every so often, usually around 4000 rpm in 4th or 5th gear on the highway. Sometimes its loud enough to drown out the engine...

    New NSX owners' gripes....

My girlfriend has a tendency to refer to my '99 NSX-T as a (Dodge) Stealth. We'll be breaking up soon.
