    Carbon fiber roof for 2019

Just got a response from Carbon 6: "The roof is bonded on with adhesive from the factory. The roof would need to be removed as well as the windshield to install the new roof. Then the windshield re-installed."

    Carbon fiber roof for 2019

Sounds good, thanks - just sent dm. At least on my desktop using Chrome, it looks like you can just drag and drop pictures directly where you type and it attaches automatically.

    Carbon fiber roof for 2019

I am definitely leaning towards wrap (glossy CF) but I found this as another option: https://www.carbon6composites.com/product_info.php/products_id/65

    Carbon fiber roof for 2019

Awesome - thanks so much for sharing. Would love to see some pictures if you have some available? Did it take more than a day to complete?

    Carbon fiber roof for 2019

I was also thinking about wrapping the roof due to swirls etc. I am also in the Chicagoland area - can you share the name of shop you used to wrap the roof? Thanks!

Best place to replace seat covers

I am curious to hear about what you decide. I also have 2021 but with squeaky driver seat bottom. Dealer said they will replace the seat cushion and re-upholster. I was hoping for a new seat altogether. I have yet to take it in to get this done under warranty.

Do NC1's need to replace all tires at once?

Just wondering what was the reasoning for warranty claim and are they only available for Conti 5s? I have about 4900 miles on my Conti 6s and they are around 5/32 and now with a nail in it. Doubt it can be warrantied but curious. Thanks

Flat left me stranded - suggest backup tire repair kit

Spoke with local Discount Tire manager and he seems confident that they can do the work without damage. He specifically mentioned low clearance jacks and using Hunter road force balancers. Still on the fence about going to DT but not sure if my local dealer is any better since I've never been...

Do NC1's need to replace all tires at once?

Stkpikr - any update on your repair? I am also in the Chicagoland area and leaning towards getting all season tires (e.g., Conti DWS06 plus). I've used that tire in the past and it was good enough for me since I don't track the car.

Flat left me stranded - suggest backup tire repair kit

Manny - as always, sincerely appreciate your thoughts/advice. My darn neighbors were getting new roof last week so it may explain the roofing nails. It's been 4 hours and so far there is no air leak. The nail went it parallel to the side wall - not sure how long they are but could it not...

Flat left me stranded - suggest backup tire repair kit

Just an awful luck - no leakage so far. Tempted to pull it out to see how deep it went but pretty sure it's going to leak big time. The car has 4900 miles so far (2021 MY) - will try to measure depth but do I need both rears? Argh. Thanks

Flat left me stranded - suggest backup tire repair kit

I just got a nail on the sidewall of my tire but no air leakage - yet. I presume they are going to ask for replacement. Do you guys go to dealership for tire service or to tire shop (e.g., discount tire)? Thanks

    Squeaky front seat

Anyone experience squeaking, creaking noise in your seat? At first I thought it was leather rubbing against seat belt but it's definitely in the seat bottom/back support somewhere. Happens when I am moving around a bit and I am not all that heavy. I think it's just happening in the driver...

Thanks for the update. May be I didn't put enough on the seal using Q tips. I'll try again this spring.

Ted - please keep us posted. I tried the grease and the instructions but I still have annoying creaking noise near driver side tweeter. I think it's seal related since my noise goes away when I roll the window down and up again.
