The kind of tiny switches you want for this sort of application - that can be hidden anywhere, or chosen to blend in with your interior - are usually not going to be rated for the current involved. Rather than risk a melted switch or a short circuit, use a relay and then you're free to use any...

use a relay, then it doesn't matter how beefy your switch is. and no, you shouldn't have to unbolt the box - i was able to find the wires from the top.

My car's not going to be able to attend, but I still will. I'll still chip in my $10, too :) I'm having trouble with the fuel maps, it's running too rich, and i don't want to drive it hard until i can get back on a dyno and re-tune the AFC. I should have known better than to change anything...

yeah, that's messed up!!! maybe a last -minute change, but that seems nuts? are they purposely confusing things to keep the hype alive a little longer? i'm still trying to find someone who has an eyewitness from the auto show. this is the email i received:

the other really hot news yesterday was Acura's announcement that they'll be entering American Le Mans in 2007, with this hot little number:

yup, CEO announces it in New York, it's prob pretty concrete. i'm jacked about it, hopefully that means they'll focus on performance and tuning, instead of nav screens and backup cameras. it was already going to be a Nissan overseas, anyway. america was the only market still in question...

right... no. i was thinking more of drawing up the wiring diagram and explaining why and how in general terms. maybe taking pics of how to wire up the relay, etc. but we'll see how ambitious we get... haven't even installed the thing yet. ;)
