    JH4NA21665S000239 One of last '05's

Honda arbitrarily chose to stop making a car, it's not like this is the last Galapagos Tortoise.

    Reigniting the flame

My NSX was a daily driver. However, I have a utility vehicle (4x4 crew cab chevy silverado). That makes up for it.

    Reigniting the flame

I am officially in the Market for a 97+ standard transmission If you've got several of the following. Zanardi trumps all below. -CTSC -Upgraded Wheels -Good History -Upgraded Brakes -Upgraded Exhaust -The recommendation from a known NSX mechanic -50k miles or less Required to have been...

    Reigniting the flame

Stopping distances are not a great way to measure sports car brakes. That's more a function of tires, suspension, and weight distribution. The ability to maintain performance with repeated abuse is a bigget concern. If you can invke your ABS, your brakes are able to stop you as fast as your...

    Reigniting the flame

I didn't once say that I didn't like the NSX. The NSX is the best car I've ever owned, and much better than anything else I can afford. but to insinuate that I like Audis and would drive an automatic in the same post is just plainly hurtful.

    Reigniting the flame

LOL at all of this. I love the NSX. I'm working through a 'devil you know' vs. 'devil you don't know' dilema. Also, IMS seems extremely rare - no data from any reliable source shows more than a handful of problems. Every thread related is built up massively by suppliers of aftermarket...

    At Last NEW NSX

You got it backwards. I would much rather have an LS7 in an NSX than a 3.2L V6 from Honda in a Vette.

    Reigniting the flame

In 2006, I sold my 1995 NSX for a 2004 50th Anniversary Boxster S. The Boxster was sold six mos. later for a Z06 (04) that I kept until recently. Now it looks like I'll have an '03 996 C2 Cab (3300 miles), but not strictly by my own choosing. I'm not complaining, but I really miss the NSX...

    help me decide

I had a Taitec GTLW and it was a great sounding exhaust. You won't be able to feel the difference between two different exhausts in the seat of your pants. You won't be able to feel the difference between stock and ARC Ti in the seat of your pants, so is $3k worth it?

    Another Z-28 story

I ran a 13.9 second 1/4 mile my stock (and 10 yr old at the time) '95 NSX. That's exactly the time that an '01 Z28 should do. I can't see you smoking a Z28 unless it was in pretty bad shape (which is entirely possible). They're not really comparable cars. On a road course, there's no comparison.

    exhaust question

You're not going to find an exhaust that will make the NSX's engine sound like a Ferrari engine. The flat-plane crankshaft and extra set of cylinders in the Ferrari's V8 will pretty much guarantee a different exhaust note. I had a Tiatec GT-LW on my NSX and it was a great sound, but it was...

I got a new front lip: Kei office/Wise sports

I like it. I think it would look a little better with aftermarket fog lights. For some reason the square ones don't look right in there to me.
