I had my water pump & timing belt changed last summer on my 1991 with 26K original miles. The belt looked 100% perfect. I'm glad I had both changed though because now I have some peace of mind and can run it to 8,000 RPM's and smile!
The car is stock. The dealer said they don't even have the equipment to test where the issue originates from anymore since the car is so old. This car is going to be seeing limited use by me and I'd like to get the light off. How hard would it be to get at the light itself and pull the bulb?
My 1991 with 26,000 miles has the SRS light on the dash. Any way to disconnect this light? Had it at the Acura dealer and they wouldn't turn it off due to liability issues. Can I unplug a fuse or cross or disconnect a wire to shut this light off?
TIA!!!
How long would I be looking at as far as installation of the SOS short shifter in the NSX? I put an OEM short shift kit in my Porsche Cayman last summer and it took me about 3 hours. Just wondering what your experience has been time wise? And by the way, the installation of the short shifter in...
I'm going through my 1991. All maintenance is now done by the dealer and the car is back from the body shop. Here's my question:
The car has the stock stereo system in it. The radio plays but when you turn it up it's just audible at highway speeds no louder. I disconnected the trunk CD player...
Finally back in my hands so I can start detailing. What a wait... Spent 2 months at the Acura dealer and then went and spent the last 6 months at the body shop. Got a set of 17/18 Advan AVS Model 5's all ready to bolt on. Now it'll be several months of detail work to get it ready for the summer.....
Just got my '91 back from the body shop. Where can I find or from what model can I find the Acura emblem that has the two prongs with the push nuts to hold it on? When I look up the 1991 part number, it looks like it is the adhesive type of emblem. I think the chrome emblem is more classy...
I have the typical 1991 red/black NSX. All the bodywork is now done on my car. Want to refresh the interior. Bought ultra low mileage 02+ seats for it last summer. Gonna detail the interior this spring. My black carpet has faded in time. Has anybody ever tried dying their carpet black? Or does...
Had my belt and WP changed on my 1991 last summer. Car has 25K miles on it. The waterpump and belt looked brand new. No weather checking at all on the belt. Felt good to get it done though.
