For my '92
Compressor: 38810-PW0-N01 US$495.00
Stator: 38924-PR7-A01 US$132.30
Clutch: 38900-PR7-003 US$253.66
Bought from dealer.
Tracy Townsend (nsxpartsguy) can beat these prices.
Hate to be an 'ole fart about it but does anybody here TRULY believe the next NSX will be as much of a benchmark as the current model was in '91?
After touring and interviewing with Honda R&D last year (and turning down an engineering job there), it became clear that the talented engineers...
Ilya,
I mounted the tweeters right next to the mid-bass drivers. This worked out great since the speaker grill is almost shaped perfectly to allow the tweeter to fire through it. The crossover is also mounted next to the midbass on the other side (towards back of car). The installation is very...
Resale value? Who cares about resale value. I didn't buy my NSX because I thought it would be a good investment. By the same token, my love for the '91-'02 NSX will not change regardless of what the new model will be. My '92 is paid for and the money is spent; it is a keeper.
ASIDE...
I had to replace one on my Volk AV3 (silver 5-spoke, polished lip). I ordered it from Options Auto Salon (818-545-8218) for $35.00.
Hope this helps.

Yes I agree with Andie.
For me, as an engineer, it's the constant awe of seeing the level of detail and thought put into the car.
If you work on the brakes yourself (see FAQ's) just remember to torque all fasteners correctly. As I was taught, "An over-torqued fastener is half broken!!".

Hi,
There is a kit listed for the newer year cars but I believe all the calipers for all the years are the same. I bought the 4 seals and 4 boots as seperate parts from a local dealer. I would suggest instead calling Tracy Townsend at GUNN Acura (1-800-328-4866) first (aka NSX Parts Guy) or...
Exactly. I agree. My main goal was to have a rotor with the same or better heat capacity than a 13" rotor but still fit inside the stock 16" rim. This required going to a 12.2" x 1.25" thick rotor which drove a caliper change as well. The overall kit so far performs and looks great and is...
I am finishing up designing a brake kit that fits the stock 16" wheel (and all other aftermarket wheels with no spacers). It uses a 2-1/2 lb 4 piston caliper and a rotor with the same or greater heat capacity as the Brembo/AP 13" rotors (i.e. same or better brake fade resistance). The kit...
I assume you've adjusted the Fuel Pressure switch so it closes the circuit at the second stage of the fuel pump (about 3000 rpm).... :-)
The solenoids are plumbed in series but wired in parallel then in series with the fuel switch. If you remove the ground to the first solenoid and prevent it...
