I met a member at last year's NSXPO in Columbus, OH, whose name I can remember, but I thought he said he was from MI, had an S2000 (in addition to his NSX), and his Forum handle had "doc" in it?? I've searched the member list for members with "doc" in their names, but none I saw were from...

Don't forget to put your Insurance back to full coverage... assuming you reduced it to only Comprehensive and reduced Collision, etc., to the lowest allowed in your State when first putting it away for the Winter. I save a couple hundred $ ever year reducing the coverage this way.

Just finishing up a near 2 year project of a 1986 BMW 535... lot of work, lots of help, lot of fun. :smile: It's semi-custom with a major restoration, modern color, big turbo, upgraded brakes, suspension, and euro trim (bumpers, lights). Looking forward to finishing her up this Fall and then...

To strip it down, level, prep (glass in or out?), etc., then a couple coats of color and a few coats of clear, then put it back together... I'd say over $10K easy.

Things (cars) don't "fall apart" due to age, but rather neglect or abuse. A 20 year old car that is properly maintained will be every bit as reliable as a brand new car... just no warranty should something break. On the other hand, a 20 year old car (that brand and model) will have a reliability...
