I have Ground Controls with Koni shocks for nearly 10 years. Well, it seems GC still doesn't know a damn thing about NSX fitment.
I also had issues when installing my new set years ago. It was a different issue where the front was about 1" higher that stock at the lowest height...
wtf! This is the first I've heard of Star certified smog. Sure does sound like a bunch of BS.
We'll probably see stricter limits, higher fees & smog prices and less smog station choices to bring our cars to when this Star BS goes into effect.
Looks like fun. I'm getting ready to do mine for the first time. Is there a DIY that's being sent around? Any additional help would be very much appreciated.
I was breaking tools left and right trying to get off the crank pulley bolt since someone over tighten it. Some good tips here and I...
The blower relay on my car stopped working where the blower didn't work at all. You might want to check these as well. There are two relays for the blower...

Congrats on getting such a beautiful car! Awesome color!

When I came out of the mall, I noticed another car parked next to my NSX.
I then noticed 3 guys...
Congratulations! Looks like a very clean car that you picked up. Same color and year as mine. Drop it a little and you're set. Are those stock exhaust tips that are gold plated?
Re: I'm doing the Timing Belt & Waterpump this weekend. Anything I need to look out f
Just did my timing belt last year. It was my first time doing an NSX and I must say the job is really not that difficult at all. Only problem I had was getting the crank pulley bolt off since I didn't have...
Yes, wrong configuration in the picture. The correct threaded collars are longer. Someone at Ground Control either got lazy or didn't know wtf they were doing when assembling my set.
You running Koni shocks already? What's your current setup?
I don't mean to get off topic, but what type of things/problems would a NSX certified mechanic might find that a good general automotive mechanic may not see?
