02-05 Rear Valence and GT-Rom F1 Exhaust

Question guys...Will GT-Rom F1 Version 2 (Quad tip) fit the 2002-2005 rear valence? I forgot who i spoke to said it will fit, but just want to double check. I'm recieving the exhaust on Monday. I'm going to try to post a few video clips after the install.

Wow, I didn't think any quad exhaust would fit the 02+ rear... I had an original Tubi with the small tips and it was about a 1/2" too wide and from the pics it looked about the same size as the GT-Rom's tips. Good luck and let us know how it works out for you.

I too have heard it will fit but is supposed to be a tight fit. I have actually seen the 2002 valance with a dual-tip but not sure which muffler it was. The one I saw was tight, like maybe 1/8" on either side of the tips.

Did you buy it from "Knight Rider" in SF? Hope you paid less than $1500, as you can get a brand new one for <$1700.

I would like to know also because i have the ANYTIME exhaust with dual tips and would love to sellthe comptech rear for the 02+ rear

When I ordered mine Mr. Tamura asked me if I wanted single or quad... and so I am assuming a quad tip can fit... but I ordered the single because to fit two tips in there they would have to be aweful small and I didn't want that.

You should ask DJ thats here on the board, sales rep for GT-Rom. The GT-Rom 02 valence is not the same dimension as the factory... the exhaust holes are indeed larger.

gt-rom.net has pics of their quad tips on various 02+ rear valence nsx. i guess they fit since the tips are not very large in diameter. pretty sure they're smaller than the tubi's. my only concern would be if it might warp the valence if it is a snug fit because i've noticed the tips get really hot with ver 5.1.

The valance on the pics you mention is not a oem Honda valance, its modified.

If you guys are referring to the pictures on GT-Rom, they are all using their 02 valence replicas with a larger area for exhaust pipes. I had spoke with someone about this before and they said it would fit in the 02 valence but there will likely be a small amount of rubbing and that the tips will be so close to the valence that the heat coming from them will cause a lot of issues later on.
