02 Valence paint or not painted

Hi, I tried the search and couldn't find any info on this. On the SOS site, they stated require paint. However, on Dali site, he said, "You DO need to paint it, don't even ask. ". So does that mean the valence Dali sells is included paint already??

BTW, is $880.00 a good deal for one that's painted??

Below are some crappy pics I took on a bright sunny day with my old camera, so I had to do some photoshopping to make the valence stand out. But it gives you an idea of how it looks on the car unpainted. Those pics were taken the day before the car went in to get the hood & rear valence painted. He picked up that entire rear kit, unpainted, with mounting hardware, for around $600 (discounted) from the Acura dealership.

newman, could you share how you can get such a good deal?? I'm still trying to find the best deal aside ordering from Dali or SOS.

Thanks for your info.

Call Ray Laks Acura and ask for Tim 888-729-5257 great guy. I got mine for under $600 shipped with the longer stay bar and had it painted for around $300.

Call Niello Acura and tell them you are an NSXCA member. They will give you 25% off. I got mine from Niello for $600.

Thanks for the tip NSX 3.0, I ordered from Tim this afternoon. Great guy as you had mentioned. Total came out to be ~$614 shipped to California. Should be here in about a week!

Did that include the mounting hardware?

Hi Gene, that includes the new stay. No NSXCA membership needed to get the pricing and no tax since it's out of state. It was $591 for the valence, $15 for the stay, $3.95 for handling. So I think the price was actually $611. The mounting screws etc are not needed as you can use the original screws.

See this thread for info about the necessity of the mounting screws, etc: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21270

Thanks. $3.95 for handling and shipping is cheap!

So what are you doing next to you car? Looks like I copy what you do, only it takes me about a year to do it.

 New exhaust, new sub box, Bilsteins then I think I'm done... for this month at least... The new exhaust is because the fit on the RSR exhaust is too tight for the 02 valence, it works but you will get some burning next to the tips. Oh dang, forgot about the BBK... when does it ever end?

Glad I have an exhaust already but I was hoping to avoid the cost of a BBK. Sub box and Bilsteins, maybe. I was actually thinking about the Type R suspension but the price doubled sometime in the past few months.

It doesn't end

Malibu-
What new sub box are you going with?

Everyday price or just your discount? Do you charge shipping?

I want one for sure at this price.

Can you get me one for that price as well? !... Really

With the cost of the international shipping I will still be paying more than everyone else but the savings will offset some of the cost of the shipping I have to pay!
