Picked up a new 03 NSX-T in April. Mostly did suspension work. Everything else stock, except for a TAITEC GT Liteweight exhaust.

Did some runs and my personal best so far: 13.198secs @ 109.650mph. Best trap was 112.12mph and best 60' time (on S03) was 1.820. I'm still learning how to run the 1/4mile as I'm terrible at it.

Will run a few more runs tonight to see if I can break 13.0. Personal best time was with these current mods:

- TEIN TypeRA

- Dali Racing front & rear street/race adjustable sways

- JDM NSX-R front chassis bars

- JDM NSX-R CF/mesh shift boot and shift knob

- AXXIS Ultimate brake pads

- TAITEC GT Liteweight exhaust

- SSR Competition wheels (17/18 with 215/40/17 & 255/35/18 S03)

Best of luck with your 12 second runs. The 60's looks good, and the trap speed to me means that you should be capable of 12s.

What elevation are you running at nsxmofo?

I see you color matched your S2000 to your NSX....I did that as well and matched my '94 NSX and '02 S2000 in Grand Prix White for both. Any pictures of your garage? :)

Thanks. I'm running the car at Napierville, QC, which I believe is about 224' above sea level...have to check the geostats again for sure. That nite was about 3 weeks ago. Temp was in the upper 70's with about 65-70% humidity.

Yes, that was by design for sure. The spa yellow is amazing. I'm considering acquiring a mint 97-99 F355 GTS in fly yellow also. Found quite a few but have yet to look at them closely. The NSX is from the States, but I keep it in Montreal, QC, where I commute to by flites each week.

Here are some pics taken at various locations, including the Villenueve F1 track, Mont Tremblant Acura Owner's event, and Old Montreal.

btw...i bought both sets of gun metal SSR Comps w/ s03's from tirerack, 1 set for each of the spas. i love the wheels...great work.

My friend's white STI ran a personal best of 13.2 at 102mph. It has very good traction off the line and would take me by a couple cars. However, by the 1/8 the NSX passes and pulls on it. On the contrary, my friend's Z06 ran 12.8 as his personal best (don't remember his trap). At the 1/8 we're even and after that he pulls about 2-3 cars, which remains constant all to the 1/4mile. I believe he should be doing better.

Holy shiz!

That is very, very, very nice.

Thanks. This one is my favorite pic. They were professionally done by a local photographer.

112MPH trap speed is the fastest I have ever seen for a stock NSX (mostly). Pretty impressive. How much improvement in the 1/4 would suspension mods make? Lower weight?

I'm not really sure if the suspension mods were a positive impact. I did turn the TypeRA dampers to lowest @ 16clicks on the front and 1 click back from max on the rear to transfer the weight.

As for weight reduction based on my bathroom scale measurements, I saved about 56lbs from having the TEIN, SSR wheels, and TAITEC exhaust. The stock exhaust was 53lbs. I weigh 125lbs and ran the car with 1/4 tank of gas. All else was stock and trunk empty. Tire pressures were 32lbs all around on the S03s. Haven't played with tire pressures yet. The car has 7800miles on it now.

Getting ready to head to the strip in a couple hrs for some more practice. I hope to better the time with better shifting and run maybe 13.0 or 12.9. Temp is in the 70's and humidity looks like around 70% according to forecast. If 13.0 or better, then I'm done for the drag stuff this summer. Within 2 weeks we're running the car at Tremblant with the Ferrari club, which I look forward to much more so.

You should be able to get into the 12's easily, as stated by a new NSX owner in another thread in the track forum, I believe. 12.9 or 12.8s if i remember correctly

just got back from the track. rain killed the event today :o( clouds changed direction and head north to the track. oh well it's make up day tomorrow.

yeah, 125lbs because i was a premie :D

My 2002 NSX T ran a 12.8 @ 108 with 1.98 60 ft on 285-30-18's, SO3's. With a bit better traction a 12.6 will be easy. I have IHE with some weight reduction. :)

Re: I know your city a bit!

Is the last name of photographer Osbourne?

I doubt the same Ozzy you're thinking of even know how to operate a digital camera. :D

Where do you spirited drive your NSX?

It seems like most of his spirited drives are at the 1/4 mile strip. ;)

Good point Nimbus! I slightly misconsidered that detail... :D

Must be so annoying to drive the car from Montréal to Napierville ;)

nsxmofo do you bring your NSX on a trailer? :D

Seriously, your picture of your NSX on the Pont de la Concorde could nicely qualify as the Prime picture of the month...

i don't think it's the same guy.

not bad at all actually from mtl to napi...only about 30mins from downtown, a quick country drive. trailer? nawww, i'm not that good to be on a trailer :D

The faster trap speed is all due to the 125lbs driver weight. For the NSX freek, Forget lighter parts, just go on a diet so you can go faster.

LOL!!! i love it when the supercharged mustang GT guy that likes to run with me lines up, looks over and have this strange look.
