$1 million NSX-R

and there you have it...

And they are now in unobtainable universe.

Did the NSX-R GT even go for over a million?
No, because that was in an earlier (softer) market and there is still a lot of BS out there in the marketplace about whether they were even real and how many were actually made.

nm the Zanardi's & these R's. The cost of all of them is getting to Unobtaniumsville. Makes me want to buy a Miata some days.

It would be interesting to know how much this one went for since it's supposedly the only one that was sold to a private party.

muc.collector bought it, you could ask him if you really want to.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Lol , the Rich always spoil the party...

Car is likely to end up as an art piece in someone’s living room. $1m+ for and nsx is insane to wrap my head around

I follow the buyer on IG, def not the game plan if I had to guess. He seems to drive them all.

So crazy, the NSX-R isnt wildly different from the standard NSX. Definitely not $900,000 worth different.

In the world of the JDM manufacturer the car culture is based on subtle but technically meaningful changes , radical change is frowned upon, thus collectors have to navigate very specific special editions...IMO that is why the aftermarket in Japan is so wild, humans enjoy larger extremes..

Sales like this make me want to put my NA2 back to stock. After all, my SOS TT kit is bolt-on, and I have all the original parts except the stock clutch.

Then I drive it, and those thoughts recede as fast as I can accelerate.

This million dollar NSX-R will give the new owner a different type of enjoyment, I guess. Hopefully he drives it occasionally.

It's crazy that the range of prices go from high 5 figures to now 7 figures. It's joined the league of Ferrari, Lambo's...
