Sorry, I should have put this thread in the Track Talk Area:

No performance mods other than a Unifilter (it must have added 45HP to get these trap speeds) and a mild weight reduction down to around 2960 lbs (with me in it and an empty tank).
It was the NSX's 1st time at the dragstrip. I know it's not a dragstrip vehicle but I've always been curious after all these years as to what it would do. After taking it to the strip, I still don't know what it is really capable of since I had awesome trap speeds, but no traction off the line. I've never had a problem with traction on the street, but I couldn't get it to hook up at Carolina Dragway at all:

The 109.4 MPH run was a 60' time of 2.3 seconds and ended up at 13.6 sec in the 1/4. This was rolling off the line and babying all through 1st gear and shifting easily into 2nd gear. This was my 2nd and last run of the night since it was evident I wasn't going to get any traction. It's interesting that my 2nd run (immediately after the 1st) was 1.6MPH SLOWER at the 1/8th mile than my 1st run. Just assuming a cool engine would have resulted in at least 111 MPH trap speed!
Not bad for a stock daily-driver with 100k miles on her. The car has always felt pretty strong. I can't wait to retire the car and start the mods at the next TB/WP/clutch change in 20k miles! I'll be building it up for this road track about 1 hour from me:
