Has anyone been able to use 19" front rims without rubbing on fender and sidewall? If so give me size of rims and tires. I'm asking because I recently bought a 2000 NSX and it came with Performance Modular Wheels, 19 on front and back. It looks good, but rubs all of the time up front. Tire sizes are 225/35/19 and 295/30/19. Let me know if there's anyway I can keep these or have to buy new ones. Thanks.

What can I do to fix the scraping that has already happened? Should I worry about rust? The bare aluminum is already showing behind the wheel and the passenger plastic covering for the wheel well are already torn up. Thanks again.

19 front is way too big. 18 is probably the biggest you can run in the front without rubbing that is with proper width and offset. The tires in the front probably is the main problem but going smaller may also pose problem. For the 19 to avoid rub you may use 215/30R19 but not sure what tires would be available in that size. Your problem here is the tire is a little too wide and too tall. If you want to keep the wheel you may want to replace your front fender to the one with bigger clearance.

Do you have TCS issue running those 19's?

Yes, the TCS light came on and now the horn and cruise control don't work. The horn makes no sound while the Cruise control light on the dashboard doesn't light up. What a bad start.

You CAN run 19 in the front.
you need to carefully consider the wheel offset/width, the tire size and brand , and your ride height/alignment
I have tsw nogaro 19x8 - 40 with toyo t1s,215/35/19 (a narrow tire with a rounded shoulder, also discontinued in usa) it only rubs ever so slightly at full lock (about the same as 225/35/18 ps2) and this is with 2" drop

As for yur fender , you could try heating the paint and rolling the lip back up, if the paint is already cracked you could touch it up or get a "chip repair guy to airbrush it after you roll it , or , find someone with a fender rolling tool!

tires to look at in 215/35/19 - pzero nero - falken st-115 - maybe some others but that's off the top of my head

You could also replace the fenders with someting like DF sport but the rubbing comes from the tire being too tall - not too wide
