Hi,

I'm looking for a nice beefy round shift knob for my car. Looking for something similar to the one's on SOS but with the 5-Speed pattern on it instead of the 6-Speed pattern. I bought one on e-bay that looked like what I was after but when it arrived, it was the size of a small meatball. They didn't list the size so I just assumed it would be the correct size. The picture was deceiving for the item.

Any idea on where I could find something like this?

Thanks in advance..... Robb

That is the one I just purchased. On the surface, it looks like what I am after but if you notice, it says 1.5. That is 1.5 inches and it is too small, way too small. Looking for something just like it but in the 2-2.5 inch range. Is there anything like that out there?

I believe SOS still sells one that has no shift pattern on it. I had that on my car and it was really comfortable. They only negative is it gets hot if you park outside in the sun.

Here is a pic of what I had...

and what year Ridgeline would he need to look at to find the huge shift knob?

I just looked on the SOS website and they don't have the one without the shift pattern listed anymore. There is the one with the 6-speed pattern but no plain listed. Is it still available??? I will look to see if the '04-05 knob is still available through Acura as well as the Ridgeline.

Thanks for the info so sar...

Man...Just looked up the '05 shift knob through Acura. It IS available but has a list price of $437 discounted down to $365. I don't mind paying but that is a little too stiff for me. There has to be a better option.

If you notice on their website it says plain ones are available. They even show a pic of them. Call Chris and double check...
