Details
For Sale 1992 NSX 109,xxx miles, Lynnwood, WA, USA, track prepared 5MT red on black

Always garaged, always serviced by factory trained NSX certified technicians, always maintained with OEM parts, all maintenance done. Leather conditioned, paint buffed, car always pampered like it was the most important car in the world.

Revs smoothly, no transmission grinds, drives perfectly, clean, tight, and good paint.

Front steel inner bumper converted to aluminum racing bumper, -11lbs. original bumper included.
OEM springs and dampers converted to light-weight track Downforce suspension. -10lbs. OEM springs and dampers included.
Wheels updated to Enkie RPF01 ultra-light, massively grippy 275 wide in rear but the engine can still spin them at will. Skinny and ultra-nimble 215 wide in front. -10lbs OEM wheels included.
Driver’s seat bottom converted to Dhali racing super-low racing pad to make room for driver with a helmet on. I’m 6’2” and just barely fit with a helmet on, it’s fantastic. OEM seat cushion included.
AC deleted. -70lbs. Heat and defrost unaffected and work great. I do not have the AC parts.
OEM stereo deleted. -11lbs. I do not have the OEM stereo.
Engine cover deleted. -15lbs. I do not have the OEM engine cover.
Custom lightweight stainless exhaust, similar sound level to stock. -10lbs. I do not have the OEM exhaust with it’s weird black plastic inner funnel tip things.
One of the dual horns removed. -.5lb. Sounds exactly the same as before. I do not have the OEM second horn.
Stereo antenna and power motor removed and capped. -5lbs. I do not have the OEM antennae.
Windshield washer tank removed to install lighter front bumper beam. -3lbs if full of fluid. Windshield washer tank included.
HAWK streetable track brake pads installed.

TOTAL MEASURED CURB WEIGHT FULL TANK OF GAS: 2,746 lbs. That’s 57lbs LESS than the legendary NSX-R. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the NSX-R is incredible. But this car does have wider rubber and lighter weight even then that car, the king of NSX’s. I’ve taken the car to autocross twice, once at an exotic drive-day where I tied my times in the Ferrari F430 and faster than my time in the Lamborghini Gallordo. This is NSX is fantastic, pristine and lovingly maintained, and incredibly nimble and fast.

The bad: interior leather is coming up below and to the left of the steering wheel, see pictures. Roof upholstery has some loosening. Driver’s side leather bolster is worn. Scuffs on interior paneling. Chips on door edges, see pictures. Door open/trunk open indicator lamp went out this year, after 25 years of awesome I guess something finally had to stop working. The worst: NSX certified tech broke the engine temperature gauge while conducting full end to end service on the car, and the dealer has not been able to locate a replacement gauge. Currently has brand new 1998+ spec engine temperature gauge which seems to take different input resistance and reads “hot” once the car is started. If I am able to locate a 1991-1997 working engine temperature gauge before you take possession I will provide it at no cost and the NSX technician will install it at no cost. That said, car is sold as-is.

The good: freshly painted front bumper and hood to remove all rock chips on the front. Full dealer end to end service and update everything, even brand new read trunk and hatch dampers, all performed by factory trained NSX technician. The best: I’ve driven many NSX’s, and most feel loose and shaky by now. This NSX is tight, everything feels contracted and primed. The car has a fantastic feeling to drive and simply hums with the engine revs. This still feels exactly like the NSX’s are world famous for feeling, like a finely tuned concert instrument of speed, and will for decades more with pampering like I have given it.
