Pics 1-15 are recent, the others were from the prior owner but show the current condition of the bottom of the car as nothing has really changed. Presenting my 2 owner Silver/Black 1992 Acura NSX. This car spent the last 26 years in southern California under the fastidious ownership of a true Honda/Acura physician/enthusiast) all of his cars are Honda’s/Acura’s). It was maintained at the dealer and then a single independent Acura mechanic. It was driven and enjoyed but car has always been parked in covered parking at his office and garage at home. Car has been well taken care of and has had an extraordinary amount of work done during my brief ownership here in AZ. Please see the details in the month/year/provider section and under the mechanical section further down.

If you have interest in the car feel free to contact me and I’ll gladly provide the service records for your review via email. Once we’ve done that if you decide you’d like to proceed with a PPI I’m happy to work with you as we have a local Acura dealer and they know the car well (and have offered me money for it on 4 occasions).

Once you’ve done so, and if you’ve decided to move forward, the buyer will be responsible for placing a deposit on the car, arranging a time for me to drop it off and obtaining the report directly from Chapman.

*the list of service above goes back 5 year however records will be included for the car going back to day 1.

Maintenance: Always maintained at Dealer or marquee specific independent. Records included.

Mods: 100% stock other than an Science of Speed (SOS) muffler.

Exterior: 7/10 – This is a driver quality car with imperfections as any 26 old car would have. There are three dings (2 drivers door, 1 L Front lower nose) that can be removed via paintless dent repair, various rock chips on the nose from driving it over the last quarter century. I had the roof professionally refinished in factory black to eliminate a peeling clear coat issue on the drivers B-pillar at a cost of about $1500.00.

Interior: 8.5/10 - Nice condition with normal wear. The driver seat has an opening in the joint on the side bolster closest to the door (shown in the picture link), otherwise the interior is in very nice shape with a great dash, door cards and carpets. I have taken steps to replace things like the gear lever, the driver side underdash pad (one of the plastics mounts was broken) and have additional parts for it if desired (see available parts list below)

Mechanical: 10/10 – The car has literally been completely gone through mechanically by both independent and an Acura dealer. I’ve gone through the whole car from top to bottom mechanically which included a full service prior to driving the car home from CA. So as far as maintenance it’s the timing belt, water pump, plugs, valve adjustment, coolant flush, thermostat replacement, ALL hoses replaced using the SoS kit https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...and-drive.html. In addition the AC was weak upon my return to AZ so ended up replacing the evap valve(OEM), LH condenser (OEM) and had BrianK rebuild the CCU. Brian has also done the audio rebuild in this car under PO’s ownership. Yes the car was in snap ring, and yes the snap ring gave out on me. However, it happened as I was pulling away from the house with my hand on the shifter, so I was immediately able to recognize the slight forward movement of the shifter and parked the car and had it towed. The trans case was replaced with a factory unit while the transmission itself was completely unharmed and as a “while you were in there” item I had a new (OEM) clutch put in. The snap ring came out in two pieces due to my not having driven any more than 10 ft. Pic of the perfect trans internals is posted on the smugmug link. Lastly the car has zero modifications outside of the SoS muffler. So mechanically the car has essentially been rebuilt over the last 1000 miles. Compression numbers from my PPI below:

Cyl 1 190 Cyl 4 187
Cyl 2 190 Cyl 5 187
Cyl 3 200 Cyl 6 190

These items are available at additional cost and will be made available to all forum members once car is sold if not desired by the buyer:
- New center console (OEM) - $550.00
- New AC top AC vent (OEM) - $500.00
- Used stock shifter boot leather and used stock boot NSX-R - $180.00 both
- Authentic BBS LM wheels specific NSX fitment BFG KD tires specific - $2600

Note: Car comes with stock wheels, 3 factory keys, records, all books, manuals. Coffee table book, factory car cover w/storage bag.

Let's see if we can't get this one moved out to make some room. Market appropriate offers will def be considered.

The service history shows a mileage reduction between 6/2017 and 8/2017. Are the dates/odo readings correct?

Thanks for the question and it appears after reviewing the and record that I transposed the numbers on that specific record and included the wrong year on the last several items in general. I have documentation on everything so it can be reviewed by any interested party.

Back up to the top with a price$$ reduction and recent maintenance to include oil pain reseal and heater control valve replacement. Need to move this, accepting market appropriate offers.

I hope you check your messages on Prime soon🙏!

Car passed the PPI with flying colors. I am looking forward to seeing it in person!
