Sounds like the EPS, only happens in right turns with and without the car running. Can anyone provide some clues as to what is the cause and fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Charles is awesome. I'd discuss it with him. Mine was similar but squeaked in either direction, engine running or not. Charles fixed it perfectly, and quickly.

Almost certainly needs a rebuild.

Sorry to get back to you so late (got caught up in other life issues). Thank you for the feedback. I've heard good thing about nsxrackrepair and Charles in particular. I'll contact him and see what can be done.
BTW ... Did they say what was wrong internally to the rack? Also, how was the work done? I mean, did you remove the rack and send it to nsxrackrepair for repair or did they come to you or did you go to them? ... just curious. Thanks again.

I sent him the rack and it was back in a week, but he's not too busy in the Winter I think? See this, starting post 387:

Also this thread:

If your're close enough to Booneville, MS, you could bring him the car, but most people pull the rack and ship it to him. Instructions on his web site I believe. Take off the rack ends. Do NOT follow that crazy video that dents the coolant lines. Take your time, follow the service manual, and it's easy. Order the replacement boots and whatever else needs to be replaced in the SM before you send it to NSX Rack Repair.
