2009 TORONTO EXOTIC CAR CRUISE!!!

I have had a lot of interest regarding the next “Toronto Exotic Car Cruise” as the past 4 years I can only remember awesome turn outs with some truly amazing cars. I will post the list of cars as people register for the cruise. As for a date August 15th has been set. Not sure on locations etc yet but will know in the next few weeks as I need to run through the route. I do know it will be starting in Toronto and we will be convoying north from there. This cruise should be un real as there is already an amazing amount of cars coming. Send me details if you’re interested in joining.

This is getting exiting Ill post details on the route etc in the next couple weeks.
 
I'm waiting to see if I'll be deploying with the Navy that week. If not I'm in!
 
I drove the route twice now and this will be a great cruise. I will have specs and details up by tomorrow (August 2nd) I will also update the list of cars that will be coming. So far we have more then 50+ cars joining us so this should be something else.

The cruise will start at Colossus IMAX movie theaters on Hwy 7. Pre meet will be at 9:00 am and we will be starting the cruise at 10:15. We will be heading north from there up through some great roads with plenty of Turns and elevation changes. As we head through the back way of Blue Mountain to some great views of Collingwood. From there we drive down the front of the Blue Mountain through Collingwood and up to Wasaga where we will have lunch at Bananas with Reserved parking for the cars. (Plenty of other places to eat as well) Wasaga should not be overly packed either.

From there we head through some back roads to Barrie Lake Shore where we will have are last stop. From there people can convoy home.

I tried to keep the cruise as exciting as I can without wondering to far away from Toronto.

Hopefully the weather participates with us

Professional Video & Photography

There will also be a lot of video and photography being done as well. We also have exterior mounting equipment (suction cup mounts) that we will be using. Some have seen this before at past cruises. We are looking for cars interested in allowing us to mount the camera to there car. There will be a few camera cars. But are main car for shooting video out of will be a BMW X5 4.8IS so look out for this car when cruising.

Well by the looks of the weather it looks like its going to an amazing day for cruising (High 28C Sunshine) And with the amount of people interested in the cruise this should be a spectacular day.

There is plenty of places to stop for gas on the way to our locations but a full tank of gas to start would be a good idea. The schedule is as follows.

09:00a – 10:15a Pre-meet at Colossus 3555 Hwy 7 West
10:15p – 01:15p Departure, cruise the scenic back roads to the top of Blue Mountain
01:15p – 01:45p Scenic Lookout – Awesome View
01:45p – 02:45p Short drive through Collingwood to Wasaga Beach Main Strip (Fuel)
02:45p – 04:30p Reserved parking at Bananas and Copa Cabana, lunch and Photo Op
04:30p – 05:30p Drive from Wasaga to Barrie, Parking at Waterfront to finish.

Hopefully there are not too many police out, it’s a nice cruise with some good safe spots to step on it a bit. But be safe. I’m thinking this is going to be a really busy day as the weather is going to be super nice. These days are out number as we approach the end of the summer, so people will be out in full force.
