$70 is relatively inexpensive for a good 1/43. Because it's a "model," the smaller and more detailed it is, the more expensive it is.

I'll pay $100-$130 for a good 1:18th...I cap it at $40-$50 for a 1:43rd, no matter what the quality is. 1:43rd is "toy" territory to me...too small to really appreciate.

That's funny b/c I sold almost all of the my 1/18 scale NSX's because the quality, dimensions, and detail were so bad compared with 1/43. Of the 1/18 size, only AutoArt makes an acceptable model.
