2012 LFA For sale

Didn't expect it to have body damage. Having been in the car business I bet if there was an easy way to fix those issues they'd already be fixed. Probably an owner desperate to get rid of it and too impatient to wait months to get the proper parts from Lexus.

It just seems like too much money. If someone bought a CGT for 350 they would most likely have multiple people ready to buy when they were ready to sell. I just don't see a line of people ready to buy this LFA. Sure I bet it's a great car and its fast as hell but every Lexus under it in the line up is a numb pile of dung and because of this the LFA is going to have a limited number of buyers unlike a CGT where someone with a 911 turbo might be wanting to "move up". I think the NSX suffered the same way.

Well so far the most expensive piece, and the most difficult to come by, as I understand it, has been the hood which we are expecting to be in the neighborhood of 35-45k. Front bumper is another 15-20k.
Rear bumper has been repaired and the cost of repair and refinish of the rear bumper was 15k. No mechanical damage noted and airbags never deployed. I am not sure if the accident has been listed in Car fax I assume since it was *****d out in its condition to so many dealers it is but I am not sure.
Looking at the car, it appears the car was sandwiched between 2 cars. My guess is that it was hit from behind after hitting a car in front because the the front damage is so much more exaggerated than the rear.
A dealer by the name of Expo sold my friend the car. Expo bought it from the dealer in California. When Expo sold my friend the car the story was that the car was given by a Lexus dealer to a potential lease holder. A few weeks later it was in the California dealers hands. But I asked Expo guys about the rogue salesman and they said they believe the potential leaser crashed it and the Lexus dealer is doing their best to protect his privacy. But all this honestly is hear say.
What I can tell you for sure is that this car rammed some object could have been another car could have been anything. And subsequently was hit in the rear.
I will post more pics and video once some of the parts start rolling in from Toyota.

Why spend so much money on a car.that's been in an accident. If u can afford that
You can afford a brand new exotic.

Never buy a brand new exotic even if you can afford one. LNPP (Lease new, purchase pre-owned)

We have one at a local dealer. They told me that they will only lease, no sale, you cannot own a "collection" and the lease has a MINIMUM yearly mileage requirement as they want them driven. So were they lying to me?

If you don't have time to drive it I can drive it for you.

Wow. I wonder if Toyota can only command that kind of asking price because it's such a limited production car. For the money I would much rather have an Aventador or F458. If I had insane money, the One-77 would be the only front engine exotic on my list.
