All, we are planning various events for NSX owners and their guest at this year’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach (GPLB) Friday – Sunday, April 17 – 19th. We are offering two PLANS:

PLAN A - The purchase of general admission and reserved group grandstand seating for only Sunday’s race activities, including the Indi-Car Grand Prix Main Event Race. Those participating in this PLAN will not be provided grandstand seating along with the PLAN B participants.

PLAN B - The purchase of three-days of general admission, including Friday race activities with no reserved grandstand seating, Saturday race activities, including the IMSA WeatherTech Championship Race featuring the Acura Daytona Prototype International (Dpi) race cars and the NSX GT3 EVO race cars, with reserved group grandstand seating, and Sunday’s Indi-Car Grand Prix Main Event Race with reserved group grandstand seating.

OPTIONS: We are also offering two options for each PLAN, Option 1: Circuit Parking and Option 2: IndyCar Series Paddock Access.

If you are interested in attending this NSX event, please review the two PLANS details and the two PLAN Options below and indicate your preference. In order to obtain the best grandstand seating available, we need you to express your preference by the end of the day, Tuesday February 11th. We will then require payment from you by the end of the day, Sunday February 16th (Payment method yet to be determined). On Monday February 17, we will purchase the tickets. Final ticket price will depend on if we reach the 25 minimum participant number for each PLAN to qualify for the group rates. If you decide to participate after the above due dates, we can still include you, but we may not be able to obtain grandstand seating with the main groups and we may not be able to get you the group rate.

PLAN A: SUNDAY ONLY GENERAL ADMISSION WITH RESERVED SEATING

Adult Admission $102 ($93 Group Price) and Junior Admission (12 yrs. & under) $79 ($72 Group Price).

Based on input from regular GPLG attendees, we will try to get group seating in the uppermost rows (rows higher than row 6 for better viewing) in one of these grandstands set aside for Sunday race day activities only and in following order of priority: Grandstands No’s. 36, 6, 16, 24, 26, 30 & 31 (See Circuit Map for Grandstand Locations file: https://gplb.com/circuit-map/ )

PLAN B: WEEKEND (FRIDAY - SUNDAY) GENERAL ADMISSION WITH SAT/SUN RESERVED SEATING:

Adult Admission $162 ($147 Group Price) and Junior Admission (12 yrs. & under) $127 ($115 Group Price).

Again, based on input from regular GPLG attendees, we will try to get group seating in the uppermost rows (rows higher than row 6 for better viewing) in one of these grandstands set aside for Saturday and Sunday race day activities and in following order of priority: Grandstands No(s) 40 (within the Acura Seating Area), 25 (within the Honda High Performance Division Seating Area), 5, 7, 18, , 27 & 29 (See following Circuit Map for Grandstand Locations file: https://gplb.com/circuit-map/ ) I’m working with GPLB Ticket Manager to get seats in the Acura or the Honda High Performance Division Seating Areas.

PLAN A - OPTION 1: Sunday Circuit Parking, Shoreline Drive (No RVs or Buses) = $20 Plus Tax.

PLAN A - OPTION 2: IndyCar Series Paddock Access = $27 Per Person Plus Tax.

PLAN B - OPTION 1: 3-Day Circuit Parking, Marina or Shoreline Drive (No RVs or Buses) = $50 or $60 Plus Tax (location and price are dependent on the grandstand number that we select)

PLAN B - OPTION 2: 3-Day NTT IndyCar Series Paddock Access = $65 Per Person Plus Tax.

IMPORTANT: WHEN REPLYING, PLEASE INDICATE WHICH PLAN (A OR B) AND WHICH OPTIONS (1 AND/OR 2) YOU WANT! ALSO STATE HOW MANY TICKETS (ADULT AND JUNIOR) YOU WANT TO PURCHASE!

This is a new event for us on the planning committee, if you have been regularly attending the GPLB in recent years, please feel free to submit suggestions to the committee, but please do so immediately to allow adequate time for changes to the proposed Plans or Options.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

We will also be looking into a group dinner at one of the restaurants within the boundaries of the race circuit or within walking distance of the race circuit. Details to be provide at a later date.

It is our understanding that Acura will be hosting a hospitality area for Acura Owners. We will provide more information on the amenities being provided by Acura as they become available.

We will again be soliciting participation from approximately 7 NSX owners, to park their NSX’s in front of Legends Sports Bar & Grill along 2nd Street in Long Beach on Wednesday April 15th form 3:00 to 7:00 pm. If you are interested in participating in this event, please notify me by Tuesday February 11th and stipulate the year and color of your NSX and if your NSX is stock or modified. Our goal is to provide NA1, NA2 and NC1 NSX’s representation as follows: Two NA1’s of different colors, one of which being stock. Two NA2’s of different colors, one of which being stock. Two NC1’s of different colors, one of which being modified. Cars will be selected by the committee based on a first come first served basis for each of three NSX groups (NA1, NA2 and NC1).

We are also looking into getting a few of the finer participating NA1, NA2 and NC1 NSX’s into the Sunday only Mother’s Exotic Car Paddock. An independent party organizes this event. We are initiating contact with this party to determine the requirements and costs, which we understand to include general admission, paddock parking and a hospitality area. I’m not sure at this time if reserved seating is included and how to coordinate with Plan A and Plan B participants. If you are interested in participation in the Mother’s Exotic Car Paddock, let me know by Tuesday February 11th.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
