205/45R-16 Yokohama S-drives for front

[95 San Diego]

Just ordered a set of Yokohama S-Drives for my 95 NSX in 205/45ZR16 front and 245/40 ZR17 rear from Discount Tire. My car is stock with 215/ 45-16 Michelin Pilot sports on the front now. Are these O.K. for the front or not? I'm getting various opinions from tire places other than Discount Tire. ( they think they will work fine). I saw that size recomended on NSX prime. Just want to do what is right.

they will drive fine i have them on the front and fits good i have 255/40/17 in the rear but i wish i would go wider because i have bbk on the front and i consistently using abs/locking up the brakes i think with wider tires at the front i will have less problem

The size (205/45-16) is absolutely fine, no worries there. However, the S.drive is more of a budget tire, not as good a tire as the Pilot Sport. If you have Pilot Sport in the rear, I would be more inclined to get a comparable tire (e.g. Goodyear F1 GS-D3) to go with it.
