Are these tire sizes acceptable for rims that measure 17x7.5 front and 18X9.5 rear? Will the TCS be affected? Thanks in advance.

Ryan,

Yes this tire combo does work and if I'm not mistaking, w/o refering to the tire calculator, it is the optimum combo for keeping closest to stock. Although, I have run this before, I would definitely go wider in the rear b/c the 255 will look slightly stretched and is a very low low profile therefore offering little rim protection. With a rear rim width of 9.5", you can do 265/35 or 275/35 without compromising TCS. I believe that 215/40-17 & 265/35-18 the most commonly used application. FYI, I'm currently running 225/40-17 & 275/35-18 w/ no problems. My front rim width however is 17x8, so in your case, staying at 215 would be perfect w/ 17x7.5. Hope this helps.

I concur. Go a little wider in the rear. I would go with the 265/35.

Agree with QWKSLVR on the stretched look of a 255 on a 9.5. 265 looks better, 255 is perfect for 9''.
