I have a few pairs of double d's I'd like to print.... but will they be hard or soft!

I actually visited one of the lab that has this machine. Basically almost any 3D CAD drawing you just dump it into the programme in this machine and it will print out the same exact thing. Softness or hardness depends on the material you are putting in. I proposed to buy this for my department plus the 3D scanner for those who are lazy to do 3D drawing. If you look into Rapid Prototyping there are many other ways to print out solid material. Another one on top of my head is SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). This was one of my thesis proposal but now I am doing a different project for my study.

even pretty simple one can do moving parts, however the file or image has to be created as such.

Such as a strut for a car, you have to CAD it as seperate parts, body, spring, shaft, etc, so when it prints it goes up and down.

I'm going to make a $500 Moton/JRZ solution with this printer. Anyone interested? Bueller? Bueller?

As remarkable as this is I think its just the beginning. I read a few years back that eventually (well a couple decades) all households will have a small replicator in them that could basically reproduce such things as tools, and other basic structured items.

Sure would love to live another 100 tears to see where this is going.
