3rd brake light not working

Hi, I'm a new NSX 96 owner. I notice my 3rd brake light is not on when stopped. Is there a fuse or switch somewhere I can check? thanks.

Look at the wire near the trunk hinge on the left. It may be broken from opening and closing the trunk.

I had same issue, failed inspection because of it. A little electrical tape and your done, but not much wire to play with, so reconnect carefully.

thanks for the help, I found the plug. It was wrapped in duct tape and got pain over when they paint the car.

Yes I did. The plug was wrapped in duck tape and stuffed in the lid. I had to trace the wires to find it.
