A.B.S. ABS Pump / Speedometer Issue

the abs pump went bad in my 1991... unplugged it while i was waiting to get the replacement... speedometer worked fine... now the pump has been replaced, that works fine... now the speedometer only will go to 30 mph... any thoughts?

Uh - unplug the ABS again and see if the speedo works again ?

Neither system is connected in any way to my knowledge.

Sounds like a speed sensor problem. Check the connections to the gauge cluster, making sure that they are all clean and tight, and replace if necessary. You may also want to your car to a good Acura dealer/independent in your area to confirm if you don't feel comfortable working on your car.
