I have a 2006 Ford Fusion. When cruising at highway speeds the engine will occasionally "miss"... It abruptly hesitates running but just for a fraction of a second, as if one of the cylinders hasn't fired correctly or there's a momentary interruption of fuel, (I don't know). But then it operates normally afterwards, and will for hundreds of miles before doing so again. I'm considering taking it in to the shop. Would something like this show on an diagnostic tests? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
