Advan Model 5

I just put a set of Advan Model 5 in chrome on my NSX.

This site was very helpful for me in choosing wheels that fit my style. T I thought I would share some pics with fellow NSXers.

The sizes are:

Rear: 285/30/18 +45mm
Front: 225/35/17 +45mm

Both front and rear fit flush for a perfect fit.

i was also thinking about getting the avs model 5 wheels. for a 18/19 stagger, do you happen to know what widths i need to get the correct offset?

I delt with Cal over at Gruppe-S. He was very helpful and didnt steer me wrong at all on widths and offsets. They had very good information about these wheels and the NSX.

The wheelsare $2000.00 for silver, etc and an extra $400.00 for chrome. They gave me a pretty good deal on shipping as well.

The chrome is pretty cool as it ios not a super bright chrome but a little darker. As you can see it still shines!

Just wondering, were the wheels chromed in the US or in Japan? For some unknown reason the chrome in Japan last twice if not three times longer than what's done in the US. I know Advan sells these wheels in SBC (super bright chrome) so that's the route I would've taken.

They were chromed in Japan.

I know that many sights say bright chrome but in fact they are not. They do not make these wheels in bright chrome.

my friend gary stared the company gruppe-s and that's where i got my advan model 5 too....they are very competitive in prices and will always have the best price....if anybody ever wants to buy anything from them you can pm me.....i can put in a good word and make sure he offers the best price for you....
