I am setting up my new console. I am trying to to it as cheap as possible. So far that reason, i took my Alpine 9851 out of my truck to put in the X. And used a kenwood that i had in my room for the truck. I have a the 8inch kenwood monitor for the X, i just need a nav pod. I guess i am going to get a half din dvd player to mount above the Alpine in the console. So should i wait to cut into the console for the Alpine, until i have the half din dvd player. Or would i be ok leaving the room i would need for it. ( the half din dvd player is 1 in. What room would you need to leave for half din ? I just want it to be done right. But i want want my music back too, i don't have exhaust:biggrin: to listen to

But i was just thinking i guess i could mount the Alpine up to the climate control, and then put the half din under it ? ( not needing to worry about leaving right spacing )
