Hi folks! Question on the following scenario:

I have already put my car in storage, added Stabil to a full tank of gas, and yanked the battery. I have found out that a garage is available at my dad's cottage, for free storage, when I will be paying 230/mo for storage locally. Question is--would there be any problem with driving the car (it's a four-hour drive), cycling through a complete tank of fresh Stabil, and then adding more?

I may just be being paranoid, but that's no surprise when it comes to car care :-). Thanks in advance....

Absolutely no problem. What youd be doing to the car would be the same as youd be doing in the spring, starting it up and driving the stabilized fuel out of the car.....PS or you could move to Arizona It's 70 degrees out and drive your car all year .Theres lots of Canadians here. And plenty more land up for sale.Just kidding....good luck HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU!!

Thanks, MYNSX--I can't imagine driving my car all year round (maybe that's the definition of paradise?). We're supposed to get down below zero (32F) this coming week. Maybe I should jack the car up and install mudder tires!!

As a former native of Ottawa, I can't complain that I haven't seen snow (nor freezing rain) in almost 5 years. The weather never seems to change in San Diego and it's been the same season ever since I bought the NSX (driving season!).

Yup, sounds like paradise to me.
