A buddy and I were talking stereo hookups from PCs. He uses a Bluetooth adapter to his stereo and I use Ethernet with Airport Express. He gets some breakup with Bluetooth, and whilst the airport express is solid, it doesn't have device driver software other than with iOS applications. We found a product called airfoil that lets one stream through pretty much any app using airplay, but we are wondering if there are other s/w products that work as well or better?
I'm familiar with Sonos, but since we are talking just input to a stereo a sonos seems to be a little beyond scope.
