There was damage to my drivers door when I bought the car. I had the door replaced and had to have it painted. After the door was installed and painted whenever I open it with the key(never came with keyless) in the drivers door the alarm goes off. So I have to unlock it from the passenger side and even then the alarm goes off ever 20 or 30 times. Anyone got any ideas.
After I removed the door panel I looked at the little security tap on the door next to the lock. It looks like there is supposed to be a sensor in there or a light and there isnt. Could this be the problem?
