1998 NSX lowered on H&R springs, Factory tire sizes. I will be mounting my Volks sometime this week, but here are my results...

Left Front -
Camber : -0.9
Caster : 8.3
Toe : -0.07"

Right Front -
Camber : -0.8
Caster : 7.8
Toe : -0.06"

Left Rear -
Camber : -2.6
Toe : 0.08"

Right Rear -
Camber : -2.6
Toe : 0.07"

Total Toe : 0.15"
Thrust Angle : 0.01

I was told the rear camber aws already maxed out and thats the best i could get it.

Sounds about right with H&R springs. I thought the front could be dialed out a bit more, but I could be wrong. My car is so low, both front and rear are negative as well.

Sounds like you need Ayotte's Camber kit for your rear, to give you less negative camber.....if that's what your concerned about. I'm having mine installed this weekend!

I got my car realigned to day...here are the results. The only difference from the first alignment and this alignment are Volk GTS wheels 18 and 19 and a few potholes...

Left Front -
Camber : -1.2
Caster : 8.3
Toe : -0.14

Right Front -
Camber : -1.2
Caster : 8.2
Toe : -0.17

Left Rear -
Camber : -3.0
Toe : 0.12

Right Rear -
Camber : -2.8
Toe : 0.15

Total Toe : 0.30

Were the H&R springs installed recent to the 1st alignment? Sounds like they settled over time. The wheels should not play any part is wheel alignment.

Again, the camber kit should dial out that rear camber by about 1-1.5 degrees, if you ever choose to go that route.

Yes, the H&R springs were installed for about 2 days before this alignment. The Volks went on about 5 days later.

Is there a cheaper alternative for a rear camber kit out there? Ive been reading a thread about a camber kit that came out, but it seems very involved as far as getting it done. Something about sending away control amrs or having stuff sent to a machine shop. Also, very pricy. I think Id rather just keep buying tires....haha

The difference in camber from pre/post wheel swap is not material. It is less than a 10% difference at the rear.

I've also heard that wheels do not affect alignment, but I'm not so sure that is always the case. After I went from OEM wheels to aftermarket (wider, bigger), my camber increased a little as well.

After installing my kw v3 coilovers i got an alignment today. I am going back in a few weeks to check again after the springs settle. Here are my results.

Left Front -
Camber : -.03
Caster : 8.1
Toe : .08

Right Front -
Camber : -0.5
Caster : 7.8
Toe : .07

Left Rear -
Camber : -2.7
Toe : 0.08

Right Rear -
Camber : -3.1
Toe : 0.08

Total Toe : 0.16

OK so when i go back in a few weeks what would be the idea setup to minimize tread wear. I have 18/19 setup with 215/35/18 and 265/30/19

I have read other posts and cant seem to figure out what my alignment specs should be dialed in at........

Your input is greatly appreciated!

The front toe measurement is not correct. Shouldn't they be toe out instead of toe in? Did you forget the '-' sign on the measurements?

i just double checked my printout and my toe is not negative. should it be negative and at what degree? i am going back in a month to realign things once my springs settle. I appreciate the response and do u have a recommendation for what setting i should be dialed in at to save treadwear?

front toe out, allows for easier turn in...check the wiki for oem alignment specs they change subtly over the years.

thanks docjohn...... I looked at the wiki page and my settings are not that far off except for the toe like nis350 said. NOw the wiki says total toe should be -3.5. Now my questions is Do i tell the guy doing the alignment to put each wheel to -.875? And the rear camber is off but i know that is hard to correct without the camber correction hardware. Thanks for your input....

I'm no expert,in fact I have let my dealer do the work because they have a hunter machine that has all the oem specs pre pregramed. If I'm doing more track days they use 91 spec if mostly street then 96:redface:

It should definitely be toe out for the front, I've heard some set it to zero to get more life out of the front tires, but I am sure that effect the handling. I suppose that is not an issue if you just commute on the fwy.

I set mine at the minimal toe-out. I don't recall what it was, but it should be listed on your print out.

i checked wiki and it says the total toe should be -3.5 so i am assuming that each wheel should be set at -.875. I am gonna get it changed the second time around... Good looking out!!
