Alpine Equipment Install GURU - Anyone?

I have a lot of Alpine gear in my NSX but am having a problem. I have the following abridged equipment list and want to do the following -

1 - M740BT Monitor mounted in the factory Honda NSX NAV POD
2 - W205 Headunit (With BT adapter for phone connectivity)
3 - N872A Navigation System

Both the M740BT and W205 have a dedicated input for the N872 NAV system. I currently have the N872 NAV connected to the M740BT and the speech plays thought the tiny speaker on the screen monitor. What I would like to do but can't figure out is how to redirect the sound from the monitor to the W205 so that the speech goes through the stereo speakers with the INT function.

Neither the W205 or M740BT seem to have the ability to send neither the video or sound (speech) of the NAV between each other; this also goes for the BT Phone function of the monitor which is why I purchased the BT adapter for the W205 headunit. I can only seem to use one or the other for the NAV. What I want is the NAV to be displayed on the M740BT monitor but all the sound to go through the regular stereo system. I can get the M740 to INT the W205 but with the GTLW exhaust I can hardly hear anything from that tiny speaker in the M740BT monitor.

Any suggestions? At this point I'm not sure it's possible. If you need a full system list let me know but all the other stuff like the sound processor and such shouldn't have any effect in regards to what I'm trying here.

Thanks!

You should be able to have the M740 act as a slave unit for video from the video out of the W205. All other functions of the system will be controlled through the W205. If you are wanting the M740 to continue to act as the touchscreen controller for the Nav, that is another story and I'm not sure if you can do that. If that is what you are trying to do let me know and I will check into that.

I have the same problem. I couldn't get to show the NAV screen to the m740BT from the W205(w/ blackbird). However I have no problems displaying the DVD on both screens.

It'll be great if you can come up with a solution to this.

My setup:

I spoke with Alpine tech support and was informed that the NAV is dedicated input to one unit only and can not be output or displayed on a different monitor or two units at the same time, etc. I guess since the interrupt function works between the 740BT monitor and the W205 it's okay but the speaker in the monitor is so small you can't hear anything unless your parked idling. Actually thinking of cracking open the monitor and trying to run a wire from the speaker to my rear speaker between the seats so I can hear the thing better.

Also found out the the blue tooth module I have for the W205 won't work with the alpine H701 processor I installed because it doesn't support AINET which is funny because it's an alpine product. So I'm not only forced to use the speaker in the 740BT monitor to hear the NAV guidance but my phone calls have to go through it to making it practically impossible to hear anyone when I driving down the road hands free.

I worked for days trying every possible way to wire it up before calling Alpine, wished I would have contacted them first. Thanks for the responses everyone, have any other suggestions I'm all ears.
