Could it be? If anyone has more info on this please share.

From the demo it seems pretty well sorted. This is installed in a BMW but I saw a few vids floating around of the housing resembling a standard Double DIN.

Would you have to have a cell phone and data plan for that?
Or can you tether to your existing phone when using it?
If it does tether, I wonder if you can use an iPhone with its wifi hotspot feature to tether to it.
 
I've been looking for an andriod device to install and I think I may get the jdm navi pod and install a galaxy tab 7. I beleive the demensions will let it fit. The tricky part is make sure it has room for the power cord and aux jack.

It would be interesting to see how well this works. WinCE was junk when I used it before. However, a Windows based platform may allow usage of the AEM tuning software and other data logging software such as a Windows based OBD2 scan tool.
