Don't ask me how I got into this mess but it seems that the position encoder wheel thing is all screwed up . I've not removed gears or anything like that, but cleaned the motor brushes and lubricated everything after a mast replacement and all I get now is odd activity , like the motor running the wrong way or just not running and heating up.
Is there a known starting position for this thing ? The manual is no help and help is what I need
