Greetings fellow FI enthusiasts;

Last wednesday I drove on 5 cylinders to PANSX in Modesto CA to replace my cracked-ringland original 65K miles motor with a 3 litre sleeved motor Gerry Johnson had been building me for several months.

It was an amazing experience and the car now runs awesome, but thats not what this thread is about, I will do a full story a little later when my cold gets better.

The purpose of this thread is to see if there would be any interest in a completely rebuilt 3.2 litre NSX engine from my 1997 T.

The work would be done by Gerry Johnson, including cast iron closed-deck sleeves, low compression JE forged pistons with chrome rings, Cometic head gaskets, balanced, etc. with tolerances to 1/8000th (3 times more precise than factory).

The motor would be built with the same TLC and design that GJ's infamous 500+ daily driver car is founded on, with the added extras of things he's learned to do right in the 40,000 miles he's put on the original.

Timeline would probably be in the ballpark of 6 months, pay on delivery.

Price to be determined.

Thanks for your time,

Chris Wolf\Gerry Johnson

I'm interested... what would the difference in price be between that, and taking my own engine in for similar tx (i.e. no "core")
